Innolux put out a press release that explained what the firm was planning to show at Touch Taiwan, but Digitimes added an item or two to that.
Innolux said it would show:
- A ‘large size floating image displays’
- A 2.08″ lightweight flagship VR with high contrast and high refresh and 2,016ppi to eliminate the screen door effect
- 2.56″ miniLED VR LCD to give high contrast
- 3.1″ VR display using lightfield technology from Coretronics. ic
- 18″ 360Hz Gaming notebook with ultra-narrow borders.
- 27″ Ultrafast miniLED gaming monitor using IGZO, with DCI-P3 and 1440p resolution
- 28″ UltraHD Low Blue Light gaming monitor with fast response.
- 65″ 240Hz miniLED gaming TV
In addition, Digitimes reported that Innolux would have
- ePaper displays including a 31.2″ 16:9 colour ePaper display
- Smart LC windows with fast response and high transparency
- Train-use displays including a 36″ billboard with dual screens and
- an 800 mm radius 36″ 4K curved display with 1,000 cd/m² and wide colour gamut
- A 48″ display for showing the movement of trains.
- Automotive displays including a 34″ miniLED display and
- a 12.3-inch low-reflection go-black display with integrated black effect enabling clear display of information under strong sunlight or in tunnels
- Integrated automotive cockpit display system with ultra-low reflection and a central information display
- A passenger privacy protection display; and
- a third-party driving monitoring system including smart driver monitoring system and ADAS.

Wow, there will be lots to see. It’s a real disappointment that there was no chance to go to Taiwan for the event again, (BR)
