Innolux & AUO released their monthly reports. AUO was up 35.3% in sales for the third quarter over 2020 although area shipped was down 6.1% over the same period. Innolux said that it was up 6.1% in revenue over September 2020 and were up 1.9% in units of large panels (to 12.96 million) and up to 28.76 million for small ones. For the quarter the increases were 2.8% for large panels (to 37.95 million) and 3% for small ones (to 82.76 million).
What We Think
I had half expected to see revenues dropping but the big price falls in panels have been in the later part of the quarter.(BR)
