InFocus’ new IN110x series consists of five new models, in the low- to mid-end price range.
Differing mainly in resolution, the five models (IN112x, IN114x, IN116x, IN118HDxc, IN119HDx) share many other specs. They are DLP projectors with 3,200 lumens of brightness (170W lamps lasting 4,500 – 10,000 hours). Each has a 15,000:1 contrast ratio; +/-40° keystone correction; and 15% image offset.
HDMI, VGA (x), composite, S-Video and RS232C ports are featured. The HD118HDxc has a single VGA port and no S-Video input. Each model has dual 1W speakers, supports 3D and measures 292 x 220 121mm. They weigh 2.5kg.
The IN112x has 800 x 600 resolution and a 1.9 – 2.09:1 throw ratio; the HD114x has the same throw ratio but 1024 x 768 resolution. The IN116x has 1280 x 800 resolution and a 1.5 – 1.8:1 throw ratio, climbing to 1920 x 1080 on the IN118HDxc and IN119HDx. These latter models have a 1.4 – 1.7:1 throw ratio. Images up to 300″ can be thrown from 1m – 10m (1.2m – 10m on the IN118HDxc and IN119HDx).
On sale in June, the projectors will cost €220 (IN112x); €280 (IN114x); €330 (IN116x); €420 (IN118HDxc); and €435 (IN119HDx). They will be rolled out to the USA later in the year.
