Military display maker IEE Inc. will show a new 12.1″ screen for ground vehicles at Eurosatory (13th-17th June) in Paris, with distributor Ginsbury.
The Control & Display Unit (CDU) is a 5-point resistive touch model with low latency from any of the seven inputs. The integrated video processor has a range of functions, including graphics/symbology overlay, image manipulation and genlock synchronisation.
A modular design means that the CDU can be configured to meet the input/output and processing requirements of multiple applications. IEE has not specified all inputs yet, but has said that the unit features an RJ45 connection.
Resolution is 1024 x 768, and the unit is driven by an Intel x86 (32-bit) dual-core processor. It meets the MIL-STD 810, MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 1275 requirements.
