iBoardTouch was a new name to us at BETT 2015. The company is mainly interested in large LCD touch displays which are made in China and now are being sold through its own sales company in the UK, which has appointed a number of education specialists to sell and support the products. Its “special sauce” is that its software can open both Promethean and Smart file formats, allowing customers who have historic data to move to the company.
iBoardTouch has displays starting at 55″, with FullHD at 65″, 70″ and 75″. In 84″ and 98″, the firm has UltraHD sets with full resolution support. All the panels can be supplied with an optional integrated PC, which, the firm believes, delivers the best experience.
In non-touch displays, the company plans to sell 32″, 42″ and 55″ sets initially, with 65″ on the roadmap. The commercial panels were described as “high brightness” as they have 600 cd/m² of brightness.
