We reported on a concept vehicle from Hyundai’s Genesis brand (Genesis Concept Uses 22″ OLED) last month. Now the Korea Herald is reporting that Samsung Display is in discussion with Samsung about the supply of OLEDs, although it is unclear whether rigid or flexible OLEDs are involved.

Analyst Comment
As far as we are aware, nobody has yet qualified an AMOLED display for an automotive application (although I had a Toyota with a passive OLED that was built in 2000!). If you are aware of one, we’d be happy to hear.
