Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) entry-level SUV, the Hyundai Exter, has had the emphasis on the cabin and display set up recently in anticipation of its launch on July 10, 2023. The cockpit display set up includes an 8” HD touchscreen and a 4.2” color TFT multi-information display (MID).
The Exter’s touchscreen comes with in-built navigation, compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and provides comprehensive drive-related information. The vehicle also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates for the infotainment system and map, in addition to supporting 12 languages.
It also comes with what is called the Hyundai Bluelink technology that enables about 60 connected car features, including vehicle diagnostics and voice assistance. The SUV also supports over 90 embedded voice commands that work without internet connectivity.
