Considering the success of Tesco’s Hudl tablet last year, a second-generation model was always going to be in the works. The supermarket has sent out invitations to a Hudl-related event in London in October. Evidence that it is for a tablet is pretty overwhelming: Tesco’s webiste says that the Hudl 2 will be “coming soon”, and a Hudl smartphone was cancelled recently (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 37).
