Huawei has said that it will introduce new wearables and tablets at MWC in March. The company’s focus will be on premium devices.
Although specifics were not announced, Huawei did say that it would launch an Android Wear smartwatch this year. A slide showed a black device with a round face, although this may only have been a concept. A flagship smartband was also mentioned.
CMO Shang Yang noted that any smartphones released by Huawei at MWC will not run pure Android (too similar to Motorola) or Windows (too restrictive).
