Huawei’s Rotating CEO Hu Houkun, also known as Ken Hu, recently announced that the firm shipped 153 million smartphones and made 600 billion yuan ($92.3 billion) in revenue in 2017, a shipment growth of 10% and a revenue growth of 15% year-on-year.
Hu also announced that the company currently holds a 10% global market share, making it the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Huawei’s Mate 10 range launched in the fourth quarter of 2017.
