China-based Huawei published its annual report for 2016, showing profits of CNY37.1 billion ($5 billion), slightly up from CNY36.9 billion, on turnover which rose 32% to CNY521.6 billion ($75 billion) from CNY395.0 billion ($57 billion). The company sold 139 million smartphones during the year, generating CNY179.8 billion ($26 billion) in revenue, an increase of 44%.
