Huawei’s Kevin Ho to Deliver Opening Keynote at CES Asia 2016

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ today announced that Kevin Ho, president of the Handset Product Line of Huawei Device, will deliver the opening keynote address at the upcoming CES Asia™ 2016. Owned and produced by CTA, and co-produced by Intex Shanghai, CES Asia 2016 will run May 11-13 in Shanghai, China, at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC).

Mr. Ho’s keynote will address how Huawei is relentlessly committed to innovations, creating excellent products, delivering the best user experience to consumers and building a better connected world. Mr. Ho’s keynote will kick off CES Asia 2016 and is preceded by an Opening Address by Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA at 10 AM, May 11, in the Kerry Hotel, Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2-3. Shapiro will discuss the state of the global consumer technology industry and the importance of innovation to further economic growth.

As president of the Handset Product Line of Huawei Device, Mr. Ho is responsible for product strategy, research and development, integrated operation and delivery of Huawei’s handset products. Previously, Mr. Ho was the director of the Global Wireless Solutions Department for Huawei Technologies. From 2006 to 2011, he served as president of the GSM & UMTS Product Line, responsible for research and development, design, sales and technical support of GSM.

Returning to Shanghai for its second year, CES Asia 2016 is expanding from two exhibit halls in 2015 to four, with a show floor that will span up to 32,000 gross square meters (16,000 net square meters). The event will showcase top tech across the themes of connectivity, innovation and the Internet of Things (IoT). Featuring more than 350 exhibiting companies, the entire global technology industry will be represented at CES Asia across 15 product categories, from 3D printing and smart home to vehicle technology and wearables, as well as the latest innovation from budding entrepreneurs in Startup Park.
