Reports from Taiwan say that HTC is not expecting increased sales revenues in 2017 because it is struggling to ramp up demand for the HTC Vive headset. Although it has signed up with Sprint to sell the HTC Bolt but it has lost some brand momentum and is expected to be impacted by Google’s Pixel phone. Component limitations are likely to limit the volume in 2017 to 600,000 Vive headsets, up 50% from around 400,000 this year.
