Hella, a lighting and electronics developer based in Germany, has revealed that it was the company behind the OLED lighting modules featured in the new 2018 edition of the Audi A8.
The vehicle’s OLED tail-lights are made up of eight vertical modules, four on each side. Each module incorporates a large red panel and five smaller, yellow ones.
It’s not known who manufactured the lighting modules, but it is believed to be Osram, the firm that produced the OLED lighting in the 2016 Audi TT.
