HD Guru Compiles Samsung UltraHD Pricing

HD Guru has managed to find prices for all of Samsung’s 2014 UltraHD TVs. These ‘JU’ models are separate to the UN65JS9500 ($8,000) that was introduced at CES.

The top-end is the JU7500 series (UNxxJU7500), which are curved. These TVs have a 120Hz refresh rate, edge-LED backlight with local dimming, Samsung’s ‘Wide Colour Enhancer Plus’, peak illuminator, HDMI (x3), MHL-HDMI, WiFi and active 3D (one pair of glasses included). They also have 40W of total audio power. Prices are $1,400 ($40″); $1,600 (48″); $2,000 (55″); $3,000 (65″); and $6,000 (78″).

Next is the JU7100 series (UNxxJU7100). These are much the same as the JU7500 models, but have 20W of audio power and flat screens. They come in 40″ ($1,200); 55″ ($1,800); 60″ ($2,500); 65″ ($2,800); and 75″ ($5,000).

Stepping down the range is the JU6700 series (UNxxJU6700). These are curved TVs with a 60Hz refresh rate, edge-LED backlight with micro dimming, HDMI (x4), Wi-Fi and 20W of audio. They come in 40″ ($950); 48″ ($1,150); 55″ ($1,500); and 65″ ($2,500) sizes.

Finally, the JU6500 series (UNxxJU6500) is identical to the JU6700 models, but with a flat screen and more size options. 40″ ($830); 48″ ($1,000); 50″ ($1,100); 55″ ($1,300); 60″ ($2,000); and 65″ ($2,300) TVs are available.
