Hannspree has produced an update to its HannsG HT Touch monitor line, the 27″ HT273HPB, which replaces the HT271HPB. As well as better viewing angles thanks to the TN-to-IPS conversion, the screen is slimmer, with a faster touch response time.
‘One of the highest levels of touch control on the market’ is Hannspree’s claim for its new display. The hardware and integrated software have been updated from the previous version, producing a faster touch response speed and latency. 10-point procap touch is built in.
The stand enables 10° – 55° tilt, and the monitor itself has room to hold a Windows 8 mini PC. HDMI and VGA ports are featured, as well as USB-A and USB-B outputs and two 2W speakers.
Display resolution is 1920 x 1080, contrast ratio is 1,000:1 and viewing angles are 178°. The monitor has an 8ms response time and 300 cd/m² of brightness.
Hannspree’s new monitor is available now, for £225 ($340) ex VAT.
