A launch of Google’s Android One initiative, which aims to unify the fragmented OS in entry-level smartphones, may be approaching. Invitations have been sent to an event in India on 15th September. Google has three confirmed vendor partners in the country (Micromax, Karbonn and Spice). Combine that with the fact that Android One is aimed at developing markets and the conclusion appears to gather some weight.
