Google is Committed to Cardboard. Really.

Google Cardboard (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 26) was presumed to be a simple marketing stunt. Google, however, appears to be taking the device seriously – enough that the company has released a second generation, at least. The ‘Google Cardboard I/O 2015’ can support phones up to 6″ and features a pushbutton controller, rather than a ring magnet. Other than that…well, it’s still a headset made of cardboard.
