Google’s Project Tango (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 9) is a 3D-sensing project using prototype tablets and phones, capable of using the devices to build a 3D model of their environment. According to Android Police, Google is getting ready to sell the tablet version to developers – for half of its original price. The dev kit will be sold for $512.
