Sigmaintell Research of China reported the results from Chinese and Taiwanese ‘TV Foundries’ for November. The total reached 9.02 million, up 19.2% compared with last year as they and their clients ‘worked their socks off’ to keep volumes up. Local sales in China were strong and inventories were increased by brands and in the channel. Export sales were also firm in a number of regions.
The company expects a decline in December although exports are still expected to be reasonably firm.
