Gionee will release the next flagship model of its S Series of smartphones—the S11S—in China next month.
The S11S features a slim frame allowing for a higher screen-to-body ratio, a 6.01″ FullView Display with a Samsung AMOLED screen and 2160 x 1080 resolution (18:9, 402 PPI). The device also features four cameras; a 20-megapixel + 8-megapixel fixed-focus dual camera in the front, and a 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel auto-focus dual camera in the rear.
According to the official fact sheet, the new smartphone also includes customised photo processor DSP, provides enhanced HDR Effect and wider dynamic range, hardware-level bokeh and other S Series capabilities and features.
The S11S will feature a 3600mAh battery with an Intelligent Power Management System and fast-charging capability, claiming to provide users with up to 13.5 hours of non-stop usage—a 20% improvement over its predecessor. The device also includes 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with expandable storage up to 256GB and a Helio P30 processor.
S11S also offers bank card binding and NFC payments. Additionally, the phone claims higher data security with its Anti-theft 2.0 and Private Space features.
The S11S is due to release in December 2017, priced at CNY3,299 ($499).
