Gionee of China has been busy and has globally launched eight smartphones at a different range of prices, but all with 18:9 displays. At the top of the range is the M7 Plus, which is a 6.43″ inch AMOLED display and uses a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery is a 5,000 mAh.
There are three M7 models, the M7 phone (6.01″ – 1080 x 2160), the M7 Power (which was already released in some territories – Gionee M7 Power Released in Thailand) and the M7 Mini which has a 5.5″ 720 x 1440 display, a Snapdragon 425 and a 4,000 mAh battery.
The top for the range S Series S11s was announced last week (Gionee Unveils Next Flagship Smartphone). Again, this has an OLED, this time a 6.01″ unit with 2160 x 1080.
The final two are the F205 and the F6 (although we saw this called the S11 Lite). The F6/S11 Lite has a 5.7″ 720 x 1440 IPS LCD. The F205 has a 5.99″ 1080 x 2160 LCD with a Mediatek MT6763T with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There are dual 16mp and 5mp and 16mp and 8mp cameras.
