Hans-Joachim Kamp, chairman of the GFU in Germany, has said that HDTV has prevailed very quickly among customers due to the convincing image quality. He adds that UltraHD is developing in the same way, because of the growth of larger screens and higher image resolution. For 2016, the GFU expects approximately 2.4 million UHD televisions to be sold in Germany.
