Samsung is reported to have decided to reduce the thickness of the cover glass on the expected Galaxy Note 9 by 0.5mm after a senior executive compared the phone to others based on OLEDs from Oppo and Vivo. The report was in the Korean language publication, The Bell. If the company makes the change, it is expected to delay the release of this model by several months from the anticipated release date of August 2018. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.38″ display, slightly larger than the Note 8.
