Full Projector Support with BenQ’s Integrator’s Choice

Two new professional AV installation projectors, the SU931 and SX930, are now part of BenQ’s recent S-Series. They are part of the company’s Integrator’s Choice programme, which provides the products as well as education, training and support.

Both models are DLP units with BenQ’s Colorific technology, which is designed to deliver accurate colours. They can show 10-bit ‘non-fading’ colour: BenQ says that Colorific eliminates light burn and colour degradation. They also feature interchangeable colour wheels, favouring brightness or colour.

A 1.6x optical zoom is built in, as well as vertical lens shift; vertical/horizontal keystone correction (+/-30°); and corner fit geometric correction. The SU931 has a 1.07-1.71:1 throw ratio (60″ – 150″ tele image, 60″ – 240″ zoom image), while the SX930 has 1.5-2.4:1 (60″ – 300″ image).

A 465W lamp, lasting 2,000 – 2,500 hours, provides 6,000 lumens of brightness to the SU930 and 7,000 lumens to the SX931. The models also differ in resolution and contrast ratio: 1920 x 1200 and 3,000:1 for the SU931 and 1024 x 768 and 2,500:1 for the SX931.

HDMI (x2, one MHL), VGA (doubles as output), composite, S-Video, USB-A, USB-B, RJ45 and RS232 ports are featured. Two 10W speakers are also built in.

The projectors measure 446 x 336 x 152mm and weigh 6.7kg. They are available now.
