Asian sources claim that Foxconn is developing flexible OLED panel technology and expects to send out 5″ samples in 2016. Reports from Japanese media say that the panels will be used on smartphones and wearables. Low-volume shipments will also begin next year. The sources say that the panels will have 400ppi and be produced with a roll-to-roll method.
