Foxconn Sees Revenue Drop in May

Foxconn has reported a 13.3% drop in revenues for May 2017, compared to April 2017, with consolidated revenues of $9.26 billion for the month, which represents a 5.27% drop compared to the same month last year.

The year-to-date revenues totalled $52.24 billion, which is up by 0.23% compared with the same time in 2016. Last year, revenues totalled $144.13 billion, which was down 2.81% compared to the previous year.

For the first quarter of this year, revenues were $32.25 billion, which was up slightly compared to the same quarter a year earlier. Foxconn’s gross margin for the first quarter was 7.36%, which was better than the 7.05% gross margin for the first quarter of 2016. At the same time, net profits were $931.89 million for the first quarter of this year, which was up from $912.36 million for the first quarter of 2016.
