Foxconn Electronics reported a 5.6% month on month and 0.5% year on year increase in sales in June, to NT$318.5 billion ($10.2 billion). Last month’s result brought sales for the quarter to NT$972.6 billion ($31.3 billion), down 4.1% sequentially but 10.6% higher year on year, while for the year to date, Foxconn achieved a 12.7% increase in sales from the same period of last year, at almost NT$2 trillion ($64.4 billion).
The company’s shipments of consumer electronics products in June declined month on month, though Foxconn saw sales of PC and communication products make gains.
