Terry Gou of Foxconn has told the Nikkei that Apple and Amazon are participating in the bid that Foxconn is making to try to acquire the Toshiba semiconductor business as the Japanese company tries to stabilise its finances. The Economic Daily News has reported that the Foxconn bid is the biggest bid received for the business, but the Japanese government is concerned about the possibility of NAND technology being transferred to China.
