Fitbit hit the news a couple of times this week, with positive and negative news coming. On a positive note, data from a murder victim’s Fitbit showed that she was alive for some time after her husband said that she had been murdered and was part of the evidence to lead to a conviction of her husband.
On the negative side, the company is investigating after a user in the US reported that she had suffered burns when her Fitbit caught fire while she was reading a book.
