Following successful installations in Seoul and Korea, Samsung has steamed ahead with its vision for the “Theatre of the Future” with a new Cinema LED Screen at the Paragon Cineplex in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Samsung Cinema LED Screen is 33.8′ wide and displays at a native 4K resolution (4096 x 2160), with peak brightness levels of 146fL/500nit.
It also provides 100,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, far in excess of traditional projectors.
The Samsung Cinema LED Screen is expected to hit U.S. and European shores in the coming years.
