CEPro reported that a California-based integrator, Just One Touch/Video & Audio Center, has installed the first-ever residential installation of Samsung’s latest 219″ microLED after upselling the client from an interest in a much smaller set. The price of this project was about $800,000 and the installation took three days to complete. It is shown in the very short video below.
The site reported that the 219″ display is made from the IW-008A modules, which offer a 0.84 mm pixel pitch, a peak brightness of 2,000 cd/m² and a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m².
The installer was also the first to install one of the first ‘The Wall’ commercial displays.
