Epson US has announced a new Home Cinema 4000 projector that supports HDR10 HDR technology and with Epson’s ‘4K Enhancement Technology’. The output of the 3LCD unit is 2,200 Ansi lumens and contrast claimed at 140,000:1 on screens up to 300″. The unit has 10 preset positions for powered focus, zoom and lens shift and the lens has a 2.1 zoom ratio. Colour support is the full DCI-P3 colour space and the unit is claimed to have a low DeltaE measurement. The HDR support is enabled by 10 bit colour output.
The unit will ship around now and costs $2,199.
