EIZO Will Introduce New Radiological Monitor Solutions at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna

EIZO will present a selection of high-precision RadiForce screens for medical diagnosis and clinical review from 2 to 5 March at the ECR in Vienna, Austria. The Japanese manufacturer will also present a number of current solutions and its latest product developments at the event.

The RX660 6 megapixel color monitor is particularly noteworthy. It guarantees precise display of color and monochrome images on one monitor. The size and format of the screen allows users to organize images as they see fit. This way, it is ideal for work processes in radiology, without the annoying bezel that is unavoidable in a dualscreen configuration. Narrow black frontal bezels make the RX660 ideal for use in dark environments. They make it easy to visually concentrate on the display. Meanwhile, a white bezel at the side of the monitor creates a fresh, clean look.

The RX660 also features highly efficient new ‘Work-and-Flow’ functionalities, which EIZO will demonstrate at the ECR. The monitor’s PinP functionality can be linked with the mouse cursor so that a PinP automatically appears when the mouse cursor is moved to the edge of the screen. This means that patient data that would otherwise require its own monitor can now be displayed in a spacesaving, efficient way. An additional ‘Work-and-Flow’ feature is USB conversion within the monitor, which allows users to operate two PCs with a single mouse and keyboard. Users simply move the cursor to the other monitor in order to work on the PC connected to it. Thanks to these two functionalities, Work-and-Flow makes it easier for users to access information and work free of obstacles.

EIZO will also present the new RadiForce GX550 5 megapixel grayscale monitor for displaying mammogram images. The excellent image quality this provides, together with the monitor’s compact, modern design, offers accuracy and ease of use when working with mammogram imaging. The monitor offers powerful brightness for sustainable luminance that is appropriate to its field of application. Moreover, the monitor can ensure excellent reproduction due to a high contrast ratio and its blur reduction. The GX550 monitor features sensors for ambient light, image brightness, and calibration, which, when combined, ensure consistent and accurate imaging.

The EIZO M series ensures accurate image reproduction in clinical departments during medical review, and, depending on the model and examination method, can also be used in diagnosis. Medical professionals receive the necessary DICOM grayscale value at the touch of a button. A new 31.1” screen in this product group will also be shown at the event. Thanks to its 4K resolution, the color monitor has four times as many pixels as a Full HD screen. The large display surface provides enough space for many images as well as for 3D reconstructions.

The EIZO RadiCS and RadiNET Pro quality control solutions will also be on display at ECR. These provide comprehensive monitor maintenance and validation. Calibration, acceptance, consistency testing, and archiving all number among typical image quality control functionalities. The EIZO stand is located in Hall X5, Stand 9.
