Eizo MIL Test Facility Completed

Eizo has completed the building of a new facility for the testing of products to MIL standards at its headquarters in Hakusan, Japan. MIL standards mandates materials that can be used remain stable under conditions of extreme temperatures, humidity, vibration and shock. Having a facility that conforms to this standard will also contribute to the development
of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products that can withstand use under harsh conditions, Eizo said.

Eizo will use the facility to develop more speciality monitors to boost its business.

The facility has floor space of 667m² and the investment was ¥700 million ($6.3 million).
