Netflix is the EU’s SVoD market leader, with a 52% shareData from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) shows that SVoD subscribers in the region rose 56% between 2014 and 2015. The organisation expects subscriptions to reach 50 million homes by 2020 (roughly double today’s figure). The largest adoption was seen in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and the Nordics.
