There have been reports that Dongxu (Tungshu) Optoelectronics has started to construct China’s largest OLED substrate glass factory, in Tianshui City. There will be four G6 production lines and the investment is $760 million with the local government providing 40%.
What We Think
China continues to try to ensure that captures as much of the value in the supply chain as possible. Dongxu has previously licensed fusion technology from Corning for substrates up to G6. (BR)
