The Dolby Vision HDR format will be launched on Vizio’s upcoming Reference series of TVs this year – but on 22nd May, you can experience Dolby Vision content for yourself with the premiere of Disney’s Tomorrowland. Pixar’s Inside Out will be shown on 19th June. Dolby Cinema locations will show the content in Los Angeles, Kansas City, Houston and Atlanta in the USA, and Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Barcelona (Spain) in Europe. Earlier this year, Warner Bros. also announced that the films Edge of Tomorrow, Into the Storm and The Lego Movie would be released in UltraHD, using the Dolby Vision format. Warner said that they would be available ‘in time for the launch of Dolby Vision-enabled TVs’ – so time is running out!
