OLED-Info, citing ‘reports’, says that China’s BOE is aiming to start small-sized OLED production in the second half of this year. The company is ordering equipment for its G5.5 LTPS fab in Ordos, which has a monthly capacity of 55,000 substrates – although that includes LCD substrates. A G8.5 line, for large-size OLED TV panels, will also be set up in Hefei.
