Dell Changes Temperature at Computex

Dell Inspiron 24 3000 AIO PCDell’s Inspiron 7000 series is a 15.6″ hybrid model, with nine hours of battery life. It can take four form factors: tablet, laptop, tent and stand. The unit shares Dell’s True Colour feature with the Inspiron 5000 series and 802.11ac WiFi. It uses an IPS panel and will be available on the 23rd June, starting at $550.

The new AIO PCs are the Inspiron 20 3000 (19.5″) and Inspiron 24 3000 (23.8″). Dell markets these as ‘some of the thinnest AIO displays in the world’ – though neglects to provide any dimensions.

Resolution is ‘HD+’ on the 19.5″ (usually this means 1600 x 900) and 1920 x 1080 on the 23.8″, with an IPS panel. An edge-to-edge touchscreen is available as an option. Both units feature Intel Braswell processors, but the larger model also has the option of AMD chips (including integrated R-series graphics).

The 23.8″ model is available now. It has Windows 8.1, 4GB/8GB of RAM and a 500GB/1TB HDD, depending on configuration. HDMI, USB 2.0 (x2) and USB 3.0 (x3) ports are featured. Prices range from $480 to $700.

Dell will begin to sell the Inspiron 20 3000 in September (China) and October (USA), for $330.
