Delhaize, a Belgian supermarket owned by Ahold (Albert Heijn) in the Netherlands for the last few months, has done a deal with Clear Channel to promote its fresh produce. The project was created and displayed in French and Flemish as well as German for a few stores in the part of Belgium where this is the local language. It was shown in 122 screens in the main stations in Belgium.

Back in the ’60s, I moved with my family to Brussels as part of the ‘European project’. The supermarket (a novelty in 1964 in the UK) at the end of the road introduced me to many continental foods and flavours and was a Delhaize store. I checked on Google Maps and more than 50 years later, it is still at the same place!
