What They Say
Dasung is now starting to sell its 25.3″ E Ink monitor which has a 3200 x 1800 (16:() E Ink display with a price of $2,200. (Paperlike Offers E Ink Monitor via Indiegogo) The firm claims to have a custom driving chip for the monitor that provides ‘unmatched E-ink refreshing speed’.
What We Think
This monitor has high resolution for an E Ink display. I’d like to see the unit in action to get a sense of how it updates. There are applications where this device would be very useful, but so much of the HMI of most software relies to a larger or smaller degree on colour, so that could cause issues as well. (BR)
