Cynora said that they have started to ship development kits for new deep green TADF OLED emitter material. The ‘cyUltimateGreen’ has efficiency of >20% and meets a requirement of 150 cd/A in top emission devices. Lifetime is said to be 400H to LT95 at 15ma/cm².
The firm also said that its line will ‘soon’ include a TADF Deep Blue material.
What We Think
Cynora has not released the detail of the exact colour of its deep green, but said that it ‘shows compatibility’ with BT2020 chromaticity but matches DCI-P3. The company originally wanted to produce blue as its first product, but a change in management meant a pivot to develop green, which could be brought to market more quickly. That seems to have been done. We’ve reached out to the firm to get information on when production quantities might be available. (BR)
