Around 1,500 police officers in Cumbria (UK) have been issued with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 device, as part of an effort to modernise policing in the area. The move is part of a £1.8 million ($2.6 million) initiative by the Cumbria Constabulary. Samsung’s phones are pre-loaded with policing apps and services, so officers can accomplish more without returning to the station.
