Three new models have been added to CTouch’s lineup of ‘Laser’ interactive LCD displays, with more affordable price points. The Laser Air models (55″, 65″ and 70″) feature built-in Android 4.2, WiFi connectivity and a seven-year warranty.
Like the rest of CTouch’s products, the Laser Air displays are interactive; each has 10-point IR touch, with a response time of 6.6ms. Additionally, a mini PC can optionally be fitted to each unit. They are shipped with Oktupus software from Qwizdom, which enables mobile device interaction.
All three displays have 1920 x 1080 resolution, 350 cd/m² of brightness (edge-LED backlight) and a 60Hz refresh rate. HDMI (x3), VGA (x3), USB 3.0 and RS232 ports are featured. Android runs on a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a Mali-400 GPU.
Contrast ratio and response time vary by model, starting at 1,400:1 and 8ms on the 55″. The 65″ and 70″ share a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, with a 6.5ms and 6ms response time, respectively.
CTouch’s Laser Air displays are available now, for £1,840 ($2,800) (55″), £2,400 ($3,635) (65″) and £3,200 ($4,850) (70″), ex VAT.
