OLEDNet reported that at the CITE show in China, visitor levels were down, but there was some interest in OLED, with CSOT showing a 31″ display that is said to have been made with inkjet printing to achieve peak brightness of 150 cd/m² (normal 100 cd/m²) and UltraHD resolution (144 ppi). The company is also reported to have showed 55″ and 65″ ‘three-sided-bezel-less’ LCD curved panels with QD technology.

CSOT is also reported by other sources to have shown a 55″ UltraHD panel using more than 2 million LED zones to give OLED-like contrast and ‘pixel level’ local dimming. We also heard that BOE had some interesting new technology based on its use of IGZO and have reached out to the firm to see if we can get more information.
