We mentioned the ‘new’ OLED monitors from LG that it highlighted at NAB this week, although they have been announced (65″) or shipping (27″ and 31.5″) for some time. (LG 27″ OLED Comes into Stock) and (LG Adds Large Mastering Monitor). Chris got a chance to see the monitors at NAB and made a short video to highlight the features for professionals which includes the capability to upload LUTs, making the monitors, while not suitable for grading, are useful on set or for client viewing. He even had a look around the back at the connections.
What We Think
The two smaller units use panels from JOLED, while the 65″ is based on a WOLED panel. (BR)
