Cree Inc.’s net profit in the third quarter of the year was down 48% at $24.9 million from $47.7 million in Q3 of the previous year. However, turnover for the quarter improved slightly to $409.5 million from $405.2 million. In the first nine months of the year, Cree reported a net profit of $23.9 million on turnover of $1.25 billion, while for the corresponding period of last year the company’s net profit was $94.3 million on turnover of $1.21 billion.
