CPT’s August Sales Up 15% MoM

Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) saw sales in August increase 15.6% from July to NT$4 billion ($123.5 million), though this was 11% lower than August 2014. CPT’s cumulative sales so far this year reached NT$32.2 billion ($993.7 million), down 14.8% from the same period of last year. The company shipped 65,000 large panels in August, 33.7% lower month on month and 50.4% down YoY, while shipments of small and medium panels rose 5.4% sequentially to 31.7 million, 17.6% lower than a year earlier.
