E Ink is having problems supplying enough of its EPD panels according to GoodEReader.com. The prime reason is the effect of the coronavirus on its production facility in Yangzhou in Eastern China. The problem is likely to ease around November or December, but that is not certain.
Although costs have risen, the blog reports that E Ink is maintaining prices to encourage market expansion as it also works on expanding and automating production.
